Account Deletion

This page explains how Dockcast users can delete their account and associated personal data.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Dockcast account from either the mobile app or the Dockcast website.

Option 1: Delete from the Mobile App

  1. Open Dockcast and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to your Profile page.
  3. Click the Delete Account button in the Delete Account section.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the in-app confirmation popup to complete permanent deletion.

Option 2: Delete from the Website

  1. Go to the Dockcast website and sign in to your account.
  2. Open your Profile page.
  3. Click the Delete Account button in the Delete Account section.
  4. Type DELETE in the confirmation field and submit to complete permanent deletion.

You do not need to send a separate request by email to delete your account. If you only need clarification about what will be deleted, contact hello@dockfinder.com.

What Data Is Deleted

What Data May Be Retained

Some data may be retained in other Dockcast services and external systems where automatic cross-service deletion is not currently performed by the account deletion endpoint.

Retention Periods

User Service account/profile deletion is processed immediately after confirmation. Retained records in other systems are kept only as long as required for legal, security, compliance, accounting, or operational needs.
